THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!
We had a really great week at the White Oak Animal SafeHaven! This past Wednesday June 20th
, we had our 2nd annual Beer Tasting event at the Rivertowne Pub on
Route 30. Over 100 people showed up for
the event, helping us to raise over $2000 for our animals. We got to taste 5 different beers on draft
that night. The beers we tasted were:
Flying Dog Brewery “In Heat” Wheat
Thirsty Dog “Old Leg Humper” Porter
Dog Fish Head 60 min IPA
The beer that won “Best Tasting Beer” for the evening was
Woodchuck Draft Cider! This is a great
beer for the summer time & fall, and can even be enjoyed over ice! We were happy to be able to taste so many
different beers.
Other than tasting beers, we also had a lot of people donate
money to help save our children. The
Rivertowne Pub was very grateful to us to help us raise money. Thanks to everyone for coming out for a great
event! We can’t wait to see you next
