After a long few weeks of planning, we had a great turn out at the Vendor Show held at Youghiogheny Country Club and the "Night at the Races," which was held at the Rainbow Volunteer Fire Company. The vendor show included many different types of arts and crafts that people were able to sell for donations to the shelter. It was really rewarding for us and we raised $1100 that morning! The photo above is the beautiful arrangements made by the Country Club for the event.
The "Night at the Races" was a really fun time for us. We ended up raising over $1700 for the White Oak Animal Safe Haven all while having a great time with our friends.
Although we did raise a lot of money for the shelter, we did not have a very good turn up. We could really use your support in these functions! If you have any ideas on how to help or you know anyone that would like to come to these functions, please send them our way!
